Apparently, there’s more to this dead story as there are more books in this series. But I’m done torturing myself and wasting my time. I haven’t wasted my money on this nonsense, but time is most precious.
The blurb is misleading. Edalyn does not find anyone interesting by the end. She’s too stoic and guys are too one dimensional to attract any attention. What a waste of paper!
I wonder if there’s a new theme in YA other than a love triangle. The love triangle is quite prevalent, predictable (& boring) in the young-adult world.
My objections aside, the story once again pulled me into its world and I liked reading ‘The One’. It also helped me finish one really boring book alongside it.
